Portland mist
It settles in valley pockets and lingers there idly for hours at a time. You turn a corner in bright sunshine and enter a dense mist for seconds and then emerge out to another apparently different weather system on the other side. Our house is in a ‘dingly dell’ like setting. Incredibly beautiful, how I imagine parts of Cheshire or Sunningdale. Only with better mist configuration.
